 Warm cardigan at a good price Feb 12, 2009

I was looking for a cardigan that was black with black buttons, and this was perfect. It's warm, not too thick, with good elastic around the waste and cuffs. The buttons are big and attached securely to the sweater.
After giving this heavy use for most of this fall and winter (5 months), a week ago there opened up a small hole near the top button--nothing that a couple stitches won't fix, but since the sweater has already become like an old friend, I hope they hold. Because I haven't found a similarly well-made sweater for the price.

Let me start by saying that I ordered this sweater directly from Cashmere Boutique's website becuase I wanted there navy color. The material is very high quality, extremely soft, and just the right weight. My only major problem with it is the fit. The arms are actually slightly too short on me. I don't have particularly long arms. An easy fix for this would be to just order the next size up, but the sweater in general is too baggy for me. I prefer my clothes fitted and this one just doesn't fit right. If you're looking for a sweater that's really high quality and a little baggy than this one will be great for you.

I ordered both a black and camel colors. I returnd the camel color because the color was different than it showed online. The black sweater is really nice, fits well, and provides just the amount of warmth while in the office I was looking for, even though it is lightweight. This is a nice sweater and I recommend its purchase.

I asked for a return merchandise number, and the company was very responsive. I got the number, then the company emailed me and asked what they could do to make me satisfied with their product. I told them I simply ordered it too small by about three sizes. They asked if I'd be satisfied if they sent me the correct size with no shipping cost. I agreed, as the quality of their merchandise was never in question - it's a nice sweater. So they sent me out another one. In the interim, I accidently put the smaller cashmere sweater in the washing machine. It ended up about five sizes too small and made a great Christmas present for my mother, a tiny lass.
I would do business with this company again, and would recommend this company to prospective purchasers without reservation.

This cashmere sweater was very lightweight compared to other cashmere sweaters. It probably would not be as warm as might be expected. However, the sweater arrived with a black smudge on the front of it so I returned it.
